Home Delivered Meal Program
Nearly 50,000 meals were delivered in 2016 to eligible seniors.
Home Delivered meals are designed to assist home-bound seniors with their dietary needs. This program offers a hot meal five days weekly and if needed, can provide a meal for Saturday and Sunday.
To be eligible you must be 60 years of age or over, be unable to drive and/or unable to prepare food for a meal.
We can provide a meal if you are a caretaker for a senior that is receiving the meals.
Please call: (906) 483-1155
“Dear Senior Meals, Thank you for your wonderful service. I’ve truly appreciated the meal delivery each day and the contact with the delivery person. The social contact has been as important and the food tasty as well.
Now that I’ve recovered enough to cook again, I’m asking you to terminate the service, someone else needs you more than I.”
Congregate Meal Program
Congregate Meals are designed for the 60+ age group. People come together at one of our seven sites to enjoy a meal and some company.
To be eligible: You must be 60 years old or older. That’s it!
We do need to know how many will be served at each site every day, so that we can send the correct amount of food. If you wish to attend any of the site, please call (906) 483-1155 and reserve a spot.
